Harrison School of Music - Registration Form
Policies & Procedures
Registration Fee
A non-refundable activities/ registration fee of $60 per student is due at the time of registration.
Missed Lessons
For any lessons missed by the student, the school holds one hour group make up classes every week. The classes are age and level appropriate. To sign up for a makeup class, please contact the office and not the instructor for a date and time. There are no refunds for missed lessons. Group make up lessons are unlimited and make up credits never expire.
Withdrawal/ Stopping Lessons
Every student here is on a month-to-month basis. To discontinue lessons and to discontinue charges to your account, fill out the withdrawal form before the 7th of your last month. We do not pro-rate tuition for the last month's lessons. Students will be responsible for their last month's tuition whether or not they attend lessons. For any lessons a student may need to miss during their last month, the school offers unlimited make-up classes every weekend that never expire. The School reserves the right to terminate lessons to any students for any reason. Withdrawals received after the 7th of the month will have their final tuition charged on the 1st of the following month.
Substitutions
To avoid inconveniencing the student's schedule, if the regular teacher is absent, a guest instructor will be provided without prior notification or approval of the student. If the school is unable to provide a guest instructor, a private makeup lesson with the teacher will be scheduled promptly.
Tardiness
Under no circumstances will a lesson be extended to make up for time lost due to the student arriving to lesson late. A minimum attendance level will be required. If a student misses more than 4 classes without written notice, the school reserves the right to terminate lessons.
Tuition Policy
Monthly tuition is based on a 48 week year. In long months you will get five lessons. In short months such as December and February, you will get three lessons. The tuition is the SAME each month; i.e. we don't charge you more when you have five lessons, and we don't charge you less when you have three lessons in a month.
Payment of Tuition
Tuition must be pre-paid monthly by automatic bank account debit or automatic credit card payment. Tuition will be debited from your bank account or charged to your credit card on the 1st day of each month. Tuition fees are non-refundable. Payment must be made by pre-authorized automatic monthly payment. All charges will appear on your bank statement as being from Allegro Academy Of Music LLC. Tuition is never pro-rated or refunded for missed lessons. Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) Payments: I hereby authorize Allegro Academy Of Music LLC to electronically debit my bank account for the amount of any NSF transactions plus a $20 NSF fee.
Extreme Weather or Unexpected Interruption of Classes
If lessons are cancelled due to extreme weather or events beyond our control such as power outages, weather or government authority – all lessons will be given virtually online. Students may also choose to sign up for Group Make Up classes if they wish not to take a virtual lesson. No refunds for lessons missed due to these reasons will be given. All school policies will remain unchanged in the event of class interruption, including withdrawal and make up, and refund policies.
Injuries
Parents, legal guardians of minor students and adult students waive the right to any legal action for any injury sustained on school property resulting from normal activities, or any other activity conducted by the students before, during or after class time.

If you wish to decline the photo release, please let our office team know and we will make note on your file.
Care of Students
The School's staff and teachers are not responsible for providing before or after class care for students. Parents with students under the age of 8 are to remain in the school during classes. Students are not to be left at the school for excessive time before or after class.
Year Round Lessons/ Summer Vacation
The school operates year round and does not close for the summer. We are happy to offer unlimited makeups for our students, and are held every week. If you are taking a month off for vacation and want to resume next month, your payment is still due on the first of the month to reserve your lesson space. The lessons for the month you miss can be made up when you return from vacation
